AUGUST UPCOMING EVENTS
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Sectional days for Concert and Symphonic Band will be decided the first week of school. Jazz Band will meet Monday afterschool. Sectionals will begin August 18th.
The Band Hall will open at 7:00 am and will close at 6:00 pm daily. Students may sign up to use the office as a practice room after school any day of the week.

The first 3 weeks of sectionals are solely for All-City Auditions. Concert Band members that wish to do All-City should attend the afternoon practices for their instrument. Concert Band morning sectionals will begin September 8th.

The Razorback Band program has over 200 students and 4 ensembles:

Beginning, Concert, Symphonic and Jazz Band

Our organization has participated and received awards from multiple adjudicated contests including the Waltrip Festival, UIL, South Texas Music Festival, Waltrip Jazz Fest, Blinn Jazz Fest, KF Jazz Fest and Music in the Parks. Our students also participate in the HISD All-City Band, All-Region Band and Solo and Ensemble.
