Scales are an incredibly important aspect of a musicians education.  To become a master of scales takes hard work, dedication and discipline.

A goal of this band program is to give students the opportunity to learn all 12 major scales and the chromatic scale.  Students can complete scales to earn belts. 

 

Any student that collects all belts on the Level 1 sheet will be granted the title:

 

Scale Master

 

Any student that collects all belts on the Level 2 sheet will be granted the title:

 

Grand Scale Master

Students that earn these titles will be posted in the Band Hall and on all Concert Programs until the student graduates.
